Campus Revolution Sharing 18/05/2011

Today in Campus Revolution Prayer meet, I got Reminded of my church Pastor's Sermon, just a reminder of how GOD has been good to us and how we should continue to run the race mark out for us, as we are now in a battlefield fighting the evil one ! and praying for our unsaved family members n friends. This is what I shared abt the sermon:


To win any battle for Christ, we have to fight the good fight of faith until the end. 
*Read Joshua 10:1-43

1. Obey All The Way 
- Learning from mistakes
- Leaning totally on God

2. Agape All The Way
- Promises to be kept
- Protection to be extended

3. Pray All The Way
A. Pray for Victory (10:8)
- Pray even when there's no answer

B. Pray for the impossible (10:12-14)
- Prayer life is a process, desire to pray
- taking daily matters n things for granted esp. things happening in Malaysia
- Love ur enemies
- Pray n let the LORD lead


Another encouragement and confirmation was from Joanne's sharing from this passage from the Bible:

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.  Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.  Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.          Hebrews 12:1-3 (NIV)
